Gleave speeds to victory
JACK Gleave was in sparkling form in Sale Harriers’ open meeting in Manchester.
He won his 600m race in 1min 21.16secs, the sixth fastest indoor time by an under 23s UK runner this season.
In the under 20s 600m, Jemma Eyre clocked 1min 42.61secs. She also recorded 27.53secs in the 200m.
Over 50s runner Julie Hicken registered 31.47secs in the 200m and 9.55secs in the 60m.
Michael Lynch took 12.32secs to cover the distance in the under 15s’ 60m hurdles, while over 45s competitor Neal Petley recorded 9.71secs.
Petley also cleared 4.90m in the long jump.
