Lymm progressed to the Investec England Vase last eight with a win at Nuneaton on Sunday.

Nuneaton defended with composure and it took a smartly-taken free hit self-pass and then strike at goal from Meg Wilkin to separate the teams midway through the first half.

The hosts equalised with their first meaningful attempt on goal, but Wilkin struck again from close range to seal Lymm’s progression into the quarter finals.

The draw was held on Twitter by England Hockey and Lymm will travel to Eastbourne HC.
