Warrington Guardian: Grappenhall hunt for fresh faces Grappenhall hunt for fresh faces

GRAPPENHALL Cricket Club are on the lookout for new members, both in a playing and social capacity.

The club is in a healthy position, with all its senior teams playing in their respective top tiers of Cheshire cricket. The first team are again led by former Lancashire player Richard Green, who is looking to help them sustain their place in the Premier League.

2014 has the potential to be a very exciting year, with some very good players looking to help the club achieve success at all levels.

With a thriving junior section providing the foundation for future success, Grappenhall promises to be an exiting place to be over the next few years and whether you are eligible for one of the three senior teams, an over 40s team or junior teams from under 7s to under 18s, Grappenhall would be happy to welcome you to the club.

The 2014 season is around the corner and the club want players now to blow out the festive cobwebs.

Winter nets begin on Monday, and will run every week until the season starts in mid-April.

The 90-minute sessions start at 8pm at Bridgewater High School Lower Site, Hall Drive, in Appleton.

Any players wanting to play senior cricket for Grappenhall Cricket Club in 2014 should attend training or call Paul Tyerman on 07912 966236.
