Warrington u19 20 Caldy u19 6
WARRINGTON’S senior colts sealed three points against a determined Caldy side.
Warrington went a couple of penalties down but replied with a blindside run from Rory Booth before half time.
Warrington had their fair share of defending to do and Jack Gray, Andy Buck, Jonny Evans and Peter Edwards put an aggressive shift in against some big carries from Caldy.
Max Caldwell put the home team ahead with 25 minutes to go, but Caldy’s ball-carriers thundered up the middle and the flanks, although failing to cross the Warrington line.
Following a spell of pressure, scrum half Ben Hockenhull darted over for try number three as Warrington managed not to concede a try for the second week running.
