New youth bowls team forming in Warrington
A NEW youth crown green bowls team will be formed in Warrington this year.
The Academy will consist of players aged 12 to 24 and be seen as an important step in the growth and development of the sport in Warrington.
It is intended for the Academy to be based at the new bowls facilities to be developed at Bank Park.
While the Bank Park project is in its infancy, the youth team will play home games at St Oswalds Bowls Club, Padgate Lane.
The Academy are being backed by Spring View Services, Dales Sports Surfaces and St Oswalds.
