Trio tackle SportCity
WARRINGTON Athletics Club members Carys McAulay, Lizzie Smith and Jemma Eyre were in action at Sale Harriers’ open meeting at SportCity in Manchester on Sunday.
With the trio competing over 600m, McAulay won with a time of 1min 41.98secs, Smith was narrowly pipped for a silver medal when finishing third in 1min 44.22secs and Eyre also finished second in her race in 1min 43.47secs.
Eyre was also fourth over 200m in 27.39secs.
