WOOLSTON Rovers have received an invitation to take part in the Tetley’s Challenge Cup 2014.

The first round will take place on the weekend of February 1 with the second round the weekend of February 22.

Championship and Championship One clubs will enter in the third round, to meet the 11 community clubs who have progressed.

Rovers began pre-season training in December, head coach for the NCL side is Mike Grady and assistant Mark Robinson. The NWML side is coached by Chris Ball, assisted by Danny Halliwell and John Welch.

Rovers’ new under 18s are seeking a coach, interested level two holders should email woolstonroversrl@hotmail.co.uk.

Training for all three teams is Thursdays, at SJ Gym and Fitness Studio at 6.45pm, and Saturdays at Monks Sports at 10am.
