Warrington Town Reserves 4 Malpas 1
WARRINGTON Town started the year with a comeback win over Malpas in Cheshire Football League Division Two.
Despite going a goal down to Malpas’ Alex Hughes in the 34th minutes, Town showed plenty of fight by restoring parity just two minutes later courtesy of Dylan Glass’ shot from just inside the area.
The breakthrough came moments later, Chris Bandell heading home the goal that started Town on the path to victory.
Glass doubled his tally after the break to put them 3-1 ahead, before Bandell also added a second in the final five minutes to complete Warrington’s impressive turnaround.
