WARRINGTON Town are offering spectators the opportunity to 'Pay What You Want' for their New Year's Day derby clash with Northwich Victoria this Wednesday, kick off 3pm.

Supporters will be offered the opportunity to pay whatever amount they want, with some of the proceeds going to the special appeal fund started by manager Shaun Reid to send a young girl on the holiday of a lifetime.

Reid is bidding to raise £4,000 to send 15-year-old Georgia Rankin, who suffers from the rare condition, Skeletal Dysplasia, which means she will never grow, on a holiday to Florida to swim with dolphins.

Warrington are hoping for a bumper crowd through the 'Pay What You Want Day' as they bid to stay top of the league and bounce back from Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Clitheroe.

Reid said: "The supporters have been fantastic all season and have also rallied to Georgia's cause. We have already raised more than £3,000 and are now within touching distance of our goal.

"We hope the 'Pay What You Want' initiative will encourage people to bring along family and friends to boost the 'gate' and also help raise money for a great cause."
