FOUR Warrington Athletics Club competitors were winners at an indoor event.
Matt Wigelsworth, Fisayo Williamson-Taylor, Sam Evans and Neal Petley were celebrating at the end of the Northern Athletics open meeting.
Over 600m, Wigelsworth crossed the line first in the under 20s race in 1min 25.06secs, while on debut over the distance Evans won the under 13s race in 1min 45.21secs. Under 17s runner Elisabeth Smith finished third in 1min 40.98secs and Jack Gleave was seventh in his event in 1min 25.29secs.
Petley took the honours in the over 40s 60m hurdles in 10.13secs.
Williamson-Taylor’s triumph came in the under 15s boys’ 60m in 7.54secs, while he finished second in the long jump with 4.93m.
Jemma Eyre clocked 64.26secs in finishing second in the under 17s 400m.
