TRIBUTE has been paid to Alex Hull after his selection for Cheshire rugby union team.
The 15-year-old from Lymm is one of five students from Manchester Grammar School to be called up.
Steve Swindells, the school’s director of rugby, said: “Alex has been a fantastic addition to the squad having recently arrived from Lymm High School.
“He is a talented player who has all the basic skills and attributes to play at a higher level and has been one of our most potent attacking weapons this season showing good footwork and deceptive pace.”
Hull said: “I am so happy to be a part of this team. It’s going to take hard work and dedication but I look forward to our results during the games next season.”
Training will start in the new year and matches are lined up against various counties, including Yorkshire and Kent.
