A PLAYER suffered a serious injury, forcing a match involviing Warrington Rugby Union Club's veterans team to be abandoned after 15 minutes.
Centre Andy McDermott broke his leg in the act of scoring his team's fourth try against Helsby's second string on Saturday.
Charlie McIlroy was also among the try scorers and slotted three conversions.
