A REPRESENTATIVE over 40s team from Warrington finished fourth in the Cheshire Masters Inter-League Badminton Tournament on Sunday.
Warrington, featuring players from the Daten, David Lloyd, ICI and Vida clubs, achieved their first win in the history of the competition when defeating Crewe 5-4.
They lost 6-3 to Wirral, 5-4 to Chester and 8-1 to Widnes and Runcorn.
Pete Preston and Joe Spencer won all four of their men’s doubles games.
