WARRINGTON Swimming Club have announced the appointment of an experienced new coach.
Shaun Woodward joins Warrington at their new Orford Park Swimming Pool from St Helens alongside daughter Alex, a Chester University Sports Science student and qualified swimming teacher and fitness coach.
Woodward heads a group of qualified volunteer teachers and coaches and has already conducted time trials and implemented performance measures to ensure children improve through the ASA pathway scheme.
“My aim is build a strong competitive swimming team over the coming months and years,” he said.
“We have great training times and excellent facilities at Orford Park and I’m really looking forwards to the challenge.”
Warrington are recruiting swimmers of all ages to train Tuesday and Thursday, 7pm to 8pm.
