Oswald soaring after win at Eagle

A 14-0 whitewash of Eagle A keeps St Oswalds A at the top of the Warrington and North Cheshire Bowls Association's Monday League Section A.
Lee Johnstone and Phil Davies both won 21-2 in the resounding victory for the leaders, who also top the Friday Night league ahead of King and Queens A.
Kings trail Oswalds in the Monday league, too, despite a 11-3 success at Grange B, where Damian Morrison won 21-5.
Dave Bennett and Aubrey Raymond's 21-12 victories helped Grange A to a 10-5 success over Tetley A.
Alford A scored a 10-4 success over Grapes, while Rylands A defeated Woolston A 10-4.
Section B leaders Burtonwood A won 10-5 at Cadishead courtesy of Paul Newton, 21-11, and Alan Carr's, 21-12, winning cards, though Culcheth A stay second despite a 10-4 loss at Vulcan. Mike Baxter secured 21-9 a win to push Bulls Head A towards a 10-4 victory over Orford WM B.
Crosfields' 10-4 victory over St Oswalds B included a win from Stan Beechall, 21-5.
King and Queen B moved back to the top of Section C following a 12-3 success at Grange D, while second-placed Penketh Park lost 8-6 at GESM B.
Stag A earned a 9-5 victory over GESM A, and Monks Hall beat Brooklands A 10-4.
