Warrington trio among the medals at SportCity event

Multi-event specialist Alex Wort won gold in the men's high jump
WARRINGTON Athletics Club’s Alex Wort was one of three club athletes to earn a medal at the Sale Harriers’ Manchester Indoor Open meeting at SportCity.
The under 20s multi-event star claimed a gold medal in the men’s high jump with a leap of 1.7metres.
He was joined among the medals by two 600m runners, under 20s athlete Jack Gleave, who won bronze with a time of 1min 22.04secs, and under 17s runner Robert Dykes, who claimed silver with a time of 1min 36.30secs.
