A NEW bowls competition in memory of a former player starts on Monday.
The St Oswalds Invitation Les Jones Memorial will run in a pairs format, with 16 St Oswalds bowlers teaming up with an invited Section A ‘most wins’ achiever from Warrington men’s and women’s leagues.
The winners will receive £440.
Opening games take place Monday to Thursday, with the semi finals and final to follow on Friday, March 22.
