CULCHETH Eagles remain unbeaten after a nail-biting encounter at Pilkington Recs.

Culcheth got over the line early doors with a try in the corner from Moses with a second soon after from Wilde.

Handling errors and penalties gave the home team the chance to equalise briefly, before a further Culcheth try from S Pirrie and Standish popped over a penalty kick to give the visitors into an 8 point lead at the break.

Second half saw Eagles camped in their own half and sustained pressure saw Pilks take the lead.

The match was won for the visitors after Woods chased down a chip kick and got a hand to it before it went out of play.

Best for Culcheth were I Pirrie, A Thomason and J Wilde.
