LATCHFORD were seeking to make up for a bad start to the season.

They were 22-0 up at half time with tries from TONY BURNE, STE WORRALL, two, and CRAIG MIDDLEMORE, with SAM DOBSON converting three.

After the break Latchford's forwards worked well in the form of JON HILL, DANNY BROWN and TONY BURNE, while DOBSON at half back brought them on well like a little general in the middle of the park.

BURNE scored again from a great ball busting through the defence of a weak leyland side.

Leyland did go over twice in concession after slack defence from Latchford but Latchford took control again and with a great move NATHAN LONGMORE went in for his debut first team try.

DOBSON finished the scoring with the added two points.

Best for Latchford were JON HILL, DANNY BROWN, TONY BURNE and SAM DOBSON.
