Stanhope becomes English champion

LUCY Stanhope became the Espoir beam champion at the WAG English Championships in Dartford en route to securing fifth place overall.

The 11-year-old trains at the City of Liverpool Gymnastics Club.

Her success means she will compete in the Espoir British Championships in Ipswich tomorrow, Saturday.
