WARRINGTON women’s teams enjoyed a great weekend, with the first and second teams recording wins on the same day for the first time this season.
The first team were involved in a goal-fest, running out 7-3 winners against Sale conceding a goal in the first minute.
Steph Rawlins brought Warrington back into it with a hat-trick of goals from short corners before Steph Lace extended the lead.
Marian Taig was in top form, linking with Sarah Gregson and Lace to score twice. Emma Barlow completed the scoring.
The seconds beat Crewe Vagrants thirds thanks to a blistering strike from Amy Quayle.
