WARRINGTON took their chances to secure a well-deserved 3-0 victory in their rearranged Cheshire Women’s League Division Two match.

At the end of a closely-contested first half, Emma Barlow caught Wilmslow napping with a quickly-taken sideline ball, crossing to Marian Taig who flicked the ball on for Steph Rawlins to smash home.

Taig doubled the lead after good linking play with Rawlins. Jenny Day made the game safe.
