Medal for James

WARRINGTON-born athlete James Ratcliffe scooped a silver medal in the under 15 boys’ 300m final at the England Indoor Athletics Championships in Birmingham at the weekend.

The race was the fastest ever for the distance and age group, 13-year-old Ratcliffe clocking a personal best behind winner Owen Richardson (Basingstoke).
