Warrington sport facing winter wipeout this weekend

TODAY'S show of snow looks set to wipe out the sporting calendar in Warrington this weekend.

Warrington Town's home clash with Salford City in North West Counties Football League Division One, scheduled for Saturday at 3pm, is already confirmed as off due to four inches of snow and ice on the pitch at the Abacus Solicitors Stadium in Loushers Lane, Latchford.

Crosfields Recreation Club have announced all of their pitches are closed to matches and training until further notice.

If your event is off, or if it is confirmed as on, leave details here.
