Clubs prepare for annual meetings

CLUBS in Warrington have appealed for new playing members ahead of their annual meetings in the coming weeks.

King and Queen host theirs at the Padgate club next Tuesday from 7pm.

The men’s and women’s sections at Richmonds Bowls Club gather at their home venue the same day at 7.30pm. Tetley Walkers Bowls Club’s men hold their event the following day, Wednesday, from 8pm.

Bowlers can register for the forthcoming campaign at Irish Club’s Orford Lane headquarters the same evening from 7.30pm.

Bull’s Head Bowls Club members annual meeting is scheduled for Friday week, January 25, at 7pm.

And Tetley’s pensioners are next to come together at the Long Lane Club on Tuesday, February 5, from 2pm.
