RISING netball star Rebekah Airey said the national talent camp she attended was a ‘challenge’.
The 16-year-old former Culcheth High School pupil, a county and Netball Talent League player, had the opportunity over four days to learn from Olympians and Paralympians on the Youth Sport Trust’s National Talent Camp at Loughborough University.
She said: “It was my first time at the national talent camp and it’s been challenging, especially getting to grips with wheelchair basketball, but it’s also been a good experience.”
Airey, recently qualified on the British Colleges netball team, is in the selection process for the England under 17s squad.
