WARRINGTON Men’s Hockey team moved up to seventh in the North West League’s Division Six North on Saturday thanks to a resounding 5-2 win at home to mid-table rivals Manchester seconds.

The hosts played their best hockey of the season so far despite conceding the first goal, rallying strongly through Tom Yates and Ben Vickers to head in 2-1 up at half time.

The guests drew level soon after the restart, but once again Warrington showed their class with three unanswered goals, complete with a hat-trick for the impressive Yates.
