EXCITED footballers in the Crosfields under 14s team have taken part in a tournament to be broadcast on television next month.

The Warrington outfit lost by a single goal to Senley and Garswood in the semi finals of the Soccer Saturday Cup.

Before the action started at Premier League club Liverpool’s The Academy, they were coached by former professional players and managers Chris Kamara and Owen Coyle.

Competition highlights will be shown on SKY Sports during a Christmas special scheduled for next month.

Crosfields’ squad included: Tom Bateman, Jack Langton, Nathan Jeffrey, Lewis Snape, James Smalley, Charlie Lloyd, Jordan Richter, Christian Batt, Callum Fraser, Matthew Spencer, Matthew Stoker, Ryan Dunning, Reece Ellison, Harry Houghton, Callum Miccoli and John Hobson.
