Wire gymnasts rack up medals

THE Wire Gymnastics Club enjoyed another successful weekend at the Cheshire and Merseyside Championships, where 10 gymnasts returned to Warrington with a total of 19 medals, three bronze, nine silver and seven gold.

Charlotte Wrigley was one of the individual stars when crowned the overall champion in the novice 14-plus category, while Rosa Taylor won three golds on her way to being named overall champion in the novice 13-plus section.
