Pool partners win national prize

ORFORD’S Chris Lee, aged 42, and his doubles partner Terry Higginson of Wiltshire A have won the English Blackball Association’s Nations Cup in Dublin.

Regulars of the Warrington Independent Pool League, the pair beat a Welsh team of N Moores and S Coombes 3-1, before delivering a similarly convincing win in the final against English opponents E Mohammed and S Chambers.
