Car park charges at Walton Gardens rise

PARKING charges at Walton Gardens are to change next month.
On a week day the prices will increase for cars by 50p from £1.50 to £2.
Coaches will now pay £6 on a week day - an increase of £1.
Weekend and bank holiday charges remain at £3 for cars but will be increased to £6 for coaches.
Failing to comply with the charges will result in a £90 release fee, an increase of £30 from the current cost.
The changes come into force on June 11.
Failure to display a valid ticket during charging hours may result in a penalty charge notice of either £50 or £70 being issued.
