A PLANT fair of 15 years' standing takes place this month.
The event that raises money for children's charities in Warrington and Bolivia includes plants that have been grown in the area, shrubs and unique specimens that have been donated by parishioners of St Monica's RC Church, Appleton.
To ensure that everything is sold on the day, plants are priced at a low amount.
More than £2,000 was raised and distributed to the chosen charities last year.
The church's plant group fair will take place on May 10 from 10am until 2pm at Alexandra Park. Anybody wishing to donate plants should call 267633.
