CATCH up on the progress being made turning Westy Park in to a top park in the town.
The Friends of Westy Park will be meeting next Friday, May 9, to let people know about what progress they are making in transforming the park.
Helen Southworth, MP for Warrington South, who is supporting the campaign, will be speaking at the meeting about what more can be done.
Residents attending will also hear reports from the Friends of Westy Park committee and staff from Warrington Council's environmental health and parks and green spaces.
There will also be a chance to ask questions at the meeting.
People of all ages are invited to the open meeting and they would particularly like to hear from anyone who lives close to the park.
The group will also be looking into the possibility of creating a youth conference in the future to find out what young people in the area may want from the park.
The meeting takes place at 6.30pm, at Westy Community Centre, and is expected to last around an hour.
