Family affair

COUNCILLORS appear to be keeping politics in the family in Culcheth and Glazebury!

The recent elections saw Helena Campbell voted in to join husband Paul on the parish council, while outgoing councillor Delia Caswell has been replaced by her husband Peter.

The council also has two members called Rankin, but Roger, who will represent Culcheth, and Christine, who came second in the Newchurch ward, are not related. The results mean the parish council now has eight Conservative and two Labour members.
