POLICE have warned motorists not to leave valuables on display following a spate of thefts from vehicles in Westbrook, Callands and Gemini Retail Park.
CSO Steven Grady said: “Most vehicle crime is opportunistic and therefore preventable.
“By following some straightforward advice, and working in partnership, we can ensure that this type of crime keeps falling.
“Make sure windows and sunroofs are shut and all doors and boots are locked. Do not leave valuables on show.
“Park your car in a safe, well lit place and use a garage if you have one at home.”
