THE Fairfield and Howley Neighbourhood Project got the chance to see its own contribution to two photography students’ work.
Cathy Lynn-Jones and Michelle Botham, both second year students at the University of Chester, chose the centre, on Fairfield Road, as a subject for their photography project capturing community spirit.
The pair, both aged 20, spent five weeks at the centre taking photos of some of the activities on offer.
Cathy, from Lincolnshire, said: “We really tried to capture on camera the enjoyment and excitement of all who use the centre, and decided to run the exhibition as a thank you to all who work there.”
Michelle, who comes from Burton on Trent, added: “The Fairfield and Howley Neighbhourhood Project is a wonderful place full of lovely people.”
The two students invited the subjects of their pictures to an exhibition of their work where visitors were asked to make a donation to the centre.
