HOWLEY Park is the place to be this Saturday when carnival spirit hits.
There will be a feast of family fun at the park with a range of stalls and entertainment on offer after the carnival is opened by Mary Cummings, head teacher at St Elphin’s CE Primary School at 2pm.
There will also be the crowning of a variety of carnival princesses and queens on the day.
The line up this year is Jubilee Rosebud Ariana Holt aged five, Jubilee Queen Jodie Hampson aged nine, Carnival Rosebud is five-year-old Lucy Dodd, Jubilee Princess Cerys Holt aged seven, Carnival Princess Ellierae Donnelly aged seven and Carnival Queen will be eight-year-old Caitlin Clarke.
