PUPILS at St Barnabas CE Primary School hit the high notes as they sang along with a choir during an educational visit to Liverpool Anglican Cathedral.
The 30 year 2 children enjoyed a 45-minute service as part of an annual celebration of Epiphany season - and were joined by other schools from the area.
A children's choir singing group, from Liverpool, performed at the sanctuary, with one carol in particular appreciated by the pupils.
"The children really enjoyed the visit and especially the service - it was a great day," said teacher Linda Humphries.
"There were also a lot of other children there and everyone tried to get involved and sing.
"Our pupils really liked it when Away in a Manger started - they sang along to that and knew the words to it."
