GRAB your running shoes as Great Sankey High School recreates a fun run to mark the 21st anniversary of the Warrington bombing.
Former pupil Tim Parry was killed in the explosion on Bridge Street in 1993 with cash raised through a 2k and 5k run to create a memorial garden within the school grounds.
Mum Wendy added: “The young people and adults who took part had a brilliant time and although it rained most of the time, it didn’t dampen their spirits or their determination to complete the course.
“Tim would have been so proud of all of them.”
The event at the school on March 23 starts at 10am with registration £5.
A 2k run for under 12s will cost £2.
Organisers are also hoping to get the original runners from the 1993 run involved.
Registration forms need to be sent to the Peace Centre by March 20 For more details, visit foundation4peace.org.
