AN initiative launched to help support rough sleepers during the Christmas period is looking for help.
Warrington Open Door At Christmas (WODAC), held at St John’s Church on Wilderspool Causeway, has appealed for volunteers to help vulnerable people in the community.
WODAC is open from December 25 to January 1 from 9.30am to 3.30pm with lunch served at 12.30pm.
The service provides tea and toast and a three-course meal each day as well as offering clothing to those in need.
This year, guest will be able to benefit from a chiropodist and a hairdresser.
All guests and volunteers must be 18 years or over. If transport is needed over the Christmas period call WODAC on 444914.
To volunteer visit wodac.org.uk.
