FORTY years after riding her first horse, Jackie Hayes has fulfilled her dream and opened a livery yard in Lower Stretton.
Stockley Farm Livery is a new venture for Jackie and her partner Rob Callon, who have moved from New Farm in Daresbury with daughter Lindsey.
Jackie said: “I am thrilled to have opened the new livery yard because it is a dream come true.
“It will be a lot of hard work, but we adore horses. It is a labour of love. I have done eventing and Lindsey show jumps so over the years we have built up a lot of contacts with vets, farriers and horse dentists which puts us in a perfect position to ensure the safety of the horses here at Stockley Farm Livery. They come first.
“We are building a new community too and we want horse owners to come along and mix with like minded people, have a brew and a chat and maybe ride together.”
The couple have also launched a marquee business from the Stockley Lane site.
