A FUNDRAISER has snipped her way to success for the Shannon Bradshaw Trust raising £190 for the cause.
Kim Backhouse took part in a sponsored head shave at Boys II Men Barbers in Hood Manor.
Kim donated her hair to help make wigs for children with cancer.
Patti Bradshaw thanked Kim for her efforts alongside Sacred Heart Primary School who donated £300 St Joseph’s Catholic woman’s group, who donated £200 and Talk Talk, who raised £168 from a cake sale.
The 20-year-old from Hood Manor added: “Shannon was my best friend’s cousin so I’ve always thought about doing something.
“My hair was half way down my back but I was happy to have it shaved off to support the charity.”
