THE Walton Lea Partnership is calling on the community to continue its valuable support for the charity during the festive period.

The charity, based on Chester Road, is currently offering residents the chance to buy any last-minute gifts including upcycled furniture, carefully crafted wooden reindeer wall decorations and photo frames.

Bicycles are also for sale as part of the 'Recycled Cycles' project - giving cyclists of all ages the chance to get on the road.

For those interested in experiencing a selection of traditional treats, the charity is stocking chutneys, fudges and local apple juice, with the partnership ensuring everybody is catered for.

“We love Christmas at The Walton Lea Partnership, it’s one of our busiest times and it’s great to see all the money that’s raised for the charity," said manager Kate Fitch.

"Not only this, but all the staff and beneficiaries have so much fun making the decorations to sell in the shop.

“Each Christmas more and more familiar, and new faces come to visit us.

"With just days left until Christmas, we want to encourage people to come to the site and have a look around at all the wonderful things that are on offer, the proceeds of which go to such a worthy cause.”

The wooden reindeers have proved to be a big hit among shoppers so far, with more than 300 sold.

All the money made from the sales will be re-invested back into the charity, allowing it to support more beneficiaries in 2015 and beyond.
