THESE youngsters got a taste of life at the zoo when they turned keepers for the day.
Walton Hall children's zoo welcomed the new recruits as part of its season of fun events your little ones during the summer holidays.
They got a hands on experience with the residents of the zoo including goats, peacocks, giant rabbits and turkeys.
Then it was time to get to grips with mucking out the animals and feeding them their breakfast.
The next keeper for a day session will take place on October 29.
