Lymn teenager selected to play with pipe and drums band for the Queen in August

A LYMM teenager has been selected to play with a pipe and drums band before the Queen in August.
Connor Davidson, of School Drive, will play in the Army Cadet Force Massed Pipes and Drums Band at Balmoral Castle.
The 13-year-old joined the Army Cadet Force in 2010 as a recruit, and since then has become a proficient piper.
Those with a wish to learn to play the bagpipes, or become proficient drummers, should call Major Tom Cornmell on 01204 881270.
