Walk in countryside

A WALK through the footpaths to the east of Lymm takes place on Sunday, February 22.

Bag it up

VOLUNTEERS are needed for a bag pack to help a Grappenhall community organisation.

Grappenhall Community Library is looking for volunteers for a charity bag pack on February 15 at Morrison’s, off Wilderspool Causeway.

Anyone willing to spare a couple of hours between 10am and 4pm would be welcome.

All money raised will go into funding the charity, which is totally supported by volunteers and donations.

The library, on Albert Road in the village, is now run by volunteers since it was closed by Warrington Borough Council in April 2011.

  •  Sign up during library opening hours, with more information available at grappenhall.org.uk or on 268077.
