MEMBERS of the darts team at The Hatton Arms pitted their skills with the arrows against the game's world number 19.
Andy Hamilton, a 2012 PDC World Championship finalist, competed against each of the 13 players at the pub, on Hatton Lane.
The Hammer gave his opponents a one-dart lead in each encounter but still dominated the board.
Overall, he notched up 11 and a half points against his opponents' score of one and a half.
But the star shared jokes and tips with players in what was a memorable night for all in attendance.
"Darts is a great sport but it is diminishing in the pubs because they have been closing around the country," said landlord, Mark Bell.
"It was great for Andy to take the time to come here - everyone enjoyed the night."
The team, which formed last September, is currently off season until winter, when they will once again go up against pubs across the town.
"Regardless of ability, we get the chance to showcase our pub and food to other pubs coming here and they do too," added Mark.
"There is always a lot of camaraderie - it is great."
The pub will stage its May Day Festival on Saturday which will include morris dancing, face painting for children and a barbecue.
