FAMILIES found out more about LiveWire facilities in Stockton Heath at an open day.
Broomfields Leisure Centre, on Broomfields Road, and Stockton Heath Library, on Alexandra Road, opened their doors to all last month for the free fun day.
The event took inspiration from this year’s Commonwealth Games and offered a range of activities such as swimming, tennis, karate, balloon modelling and face painting.
Certificates were handed out to youngsters who took part from activity leaders from the Active Warrington team.
James Birdsey, LiveWire neighbourhood and wellbeing manager for the south, said: “It’s been great to see so many young children and families taking part in different activities available at LiveWire’s facilities.
Employees, volunteers and partners have worked really hard to make these events a success, which has resulted in high footfall across the board.
“I look forward to seeing what our other open days will offer throughout the rest of the year.”
