STOCKTON Heath is the place to be this weekend as festival fever sweeps the village.
The festival gets under way tonight with choral performances from Warrington Male Voice Choir at St Thomas’ Church, on London Road while youngsters from primary schools in the village will hold their own concert at Hill Cliffe Baptist Church, on Red Lane.
Then over the rest of the weekend there are a variety of events across the village with the QEII Diamond Jubilee Field, on Parkgate Road hosting the main festival site and will have activities for all ages throughout the weekend.
Other performances include The Swing Commanders who will help celebrate American Independence Day on Friday, festival favourites Oddsocks perform Twelfth Night on Saturday and Fake That, a Take That tribute band on Saturday night.
Diane Shaw, soul and motown singer will close out the festival with her live band on Sunday evening.
Tickets are still available until Saturday at the festival box office at The Forge Shopping Centre.
