Matthew Wilkinson, Olympic torchbearer visits Stockton Heath Primary School

PUPILS at Stockton Heath Primary School got up close to a real Olympic torch when one of the town’s torchbearers dropped in.
The school welcomed Matthew Wilkinson, from Lower Walton, a Wolves Foundation young trustee who got the chance to carry the Olympic flame in St Helens.
The former pupil paid a visit during a week of Olympic-themed classes and fun for the youngsters at West Avenue.
